The Nigeria Customs Service, NCS, has completed the final stage of its 2025 recruitment exercise at the Training and Doctrine Command, TRADOC, Gwagwalada, Abuja.

The two-week screening, which ran from Monday, September 7 to Saturday, September 19, 2026, involved shortlisted candidates for Assistant Superintendent of Customs II, ASCII, Inspectorate and Customs Assistant cadres.

Candidates underwent documentation, physical fitness tests and medical screening in batches to avoid overcrowding and ensure orderliness.
Assistant Comptroller-General of Customs in charge of Human Resource Development, Frank Onyeka, said the Service introduced new measures to correct lapses observed in the earlier phase of the exercise.
According to him, steps were taken to reduce congestion and make the process smoother, while urging candidates to maintain discipline.
Also, Deputy Comptroller of Customs, Adamu Musa, who is a member of the coordinating team, disclosed that close to 3,000 candidates were screened without recording any casualty.
Musa said the improvement was due to the introduction of personalized screening forms that carry candidates’ details for documentation, sports, medical and other stages, which prevents alteration of records.
He added that final selection will be based on age limit, physical fitness and drug test results, noting that those who test positive for hard drugs or are found unfit may be disqualified.
He warned the public to rely only on the NCS official website and verified social media pages for authentic recruitment updates.
