Justice Maryann Anenih revoked Mamman’s bail on Monday, May 11, 2026, and ordered security agencies to arrest him wherever he is found. The order came after the prosecution told the court that Mamman had absconded without explanation. His lawyer, Femi Atteh, said he had no knowledge of his client’s whereabouts and argued that the prosecution should produce him.

The case involves nine counts of conspiracy, false pretence, and intent to defraud linked to the Mambilla Power Project. This is the second arrest warrant issued against Mamman in days. On May 7, a Federal High Court in Abuja convicted him in absentia on 12 counts of money laundering involving ₦33.8 billion tied to the Zungeru and Mambilla hydro projects. The court adjourned the ₦31 billion trial to May 14 for continuation.
