CCTV footage has captured a man tampering with a transformer in Omonira, Igbokoda, Ilaje LGA, Ondo State, around 2:02 a.m. on May 10, 2026. The incident is being investigated as suspected sabotage of public power infrastructure. 

Residents say the act caused an outage in the area, worsening power supply challenges. Local authorities have reviewed the footage and are working with security agencies to identify and apprehend the suspect. No arrests have been confirmed yet.
