The Peoples Democratic Party National Working Committee says its National Secretariat at Wadata Plaza and Legacy House in Maitama have been unsealed by the Nigeria Police Force and handed back to National Chairman Abdulrahman Mohammed Takushara and National Secretary Senator Samuel Anyanwu. The NWC stated the handover complied fully with subsisting court orders.

In a statement from Abuja, National Publicity Secretary Jungudo Haruna Mohammed commended the police for professionalism and respect for the rule of law, calling the move a clear demonstration of constitutional order and due process.

The party warned it will not tolerate any action that obstructs operations, causes disruption, or breaches peace at the secretariat going forward.

The statement urged aggrieved members to embrace unity for the collective interest of the party and thanked leaders and stakeholders for their support. It singled out the guidance of the party’s National Leader, Ezenwo Nyesom Wike, Minister of the FCT.
