The Nigerian military’s Operation Hadin Kai has made significant strides in disrupting terrorist logistics networks in Borno State, with the arrest of 53 suspected logistics suppliers, including 12 apprehended in Gubio market on Sunday. The targeted operation, aided by credible intelligence and a concealed informant, aimed to dismantle supply chains sustaining Boko Haram and ISWAP elements across the North-East.

Preliminary investigations reveal the suspects played key roles in supplying and moving items for terrorist groups. They are currently in custody, undergoing further investigation. The sustained operations have contributed to the relatively calm security situation in the region, with troops’ morale and combat readiness remaining high.

The military’s efforts focus on denying terrorists freedom of action and access to essential supplies, crucial in degrading their capabilities. The operation is part of the broader strategy to stabilize the North-East and restore peace.
