Lagos is gearing up for President Bola Tinubu’s visit, deploying 500 additional LASTMA officers to manage traffic on major roads and critical corridors. The officers will be positioned to ensure effective traffic control and minimize disruptions to residents. Alternative traffic arrangements will be communicated to the public in good time.

The President is expected to commission several landmark projects, including:
– Ojota-Opebi Link Bridge: A 5.04km project addressing traffic challenges in the Ikeja metropolitan zone
– Lagos State Geographic Information Service Building: A purpose-built facility for geospatial mapping and land administration
– Alausa Multi-Agency Complex: A facility consolidating government services within the Ikeja administrative hub
– Tolu Schools Complex: A regenerated school complex serving about 20,000 pupils
– Mid-Level Agro-Produce Hub: A sustainable food distribution network in Abijo, Ibeju-Lekki
The Lagos State Government is working to ensure a smooth, secure, and successful event, urging residents to cooperate with authorities and comply with traffic advisories and security guidelines.
