The Kebbi State Police Command has confirmed the release of kidnapped High Court Judge, Justice Faruk Hassan Bunza.

Justice Bunza was abducted from his residence in Bunza Local Government Area on 26th July.

In a statement on Sunday, the Police Public Relations Officer, Bashir Usman, said the confirmation was received from the judge’s family and the Kebbi State Ministry of Justice.

The Command said security agencies have stepped up investigations to track down the abductors and bring them to justice.

It urged members of the public to volunteer credible information that could aid the investigation, assuring that all tips will be treated with confidentiality.

The Police also reiterated its commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the state.
