The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board says it is ready to conduct the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2.2 million candidates nationwide.

The UTME is scheduled to run from Thursday, April 16 to Wednesday, April 22, 2026, across 966 Computer Based Test centres. JAMB said 23 centres were dropped after poor performance during the recent Mock-UTME.
Candidates who have not printed their examination slips should do so on the Board’s website. The slips show each candidate’s exam date, time, and centre location.
JAMB confirmed that special provisions are in place for candidates living with disabilities under the JAMB Equal Opportunity Group. The Board also restated that strict sanctions will apply for exam malpractice or bringing prohibited items into exam halls.
Centres have been told to enforce biometric verification and other security checks to maintain the integrity of the exercise.
