Iran’s retaliation campaign in the Gulf has escalated, with a drone attack targeting Oman’s Duqm port, injuring one foreign worker. The attack marks the first strike on Oman, which has mediated US-Iran talks, since Tehran began its retaliation. REGIONAL TENSIONS RISE

Blasts were heard across Dubai, Doha, and Manama as Iran carried out attacks in response to US and Israeli strikes that killed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and other top officials. The UAE capital Abu Dhabi was hit on Saturday, killing two civilians, while debris from intercepted drones injured two people in Dubai.

The US and Israel have warned of further action against Iran, while the UN Secretary-General has called for an immediate ceasefire. Oman has condemned the targeting of Duqm Port, calling it a threat to national safety and regional stability.
