The Independent National Electoral Commission has commenced distribution of sensitive electoral materials for Saturday’s election in Ekiti State.

INEC officials were seen at the Central Bank of Nigeria office in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday sorting and packaging ballot papers, result sheets, and other critical materials. The materials are scheduled to be moved to all 16 local government areas of the state ahead of the polls.

Officials said the process is being carried out under security supervision to ensure integrity and timely delivery to polling units. The commission added that distribution to registration area centers will follow immediately after sorting is completed.
INEC reiterated its commitment to conducting a credible election and urged stakeholders to cooperate with officials during the logistics phase.
