FOUR KILLED, FOUR INJURED IN LEKKI-EPE EXPRESSWAY CRASH.

A fatal accident occurred on the Lekki-Epe Expressway in Lagos, Nigeria, when a truck collided with a commercial minibus, resulting in the deaths of four passengers and injuring four others. The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) reported that the truck driver lost control, causing the crash opposite Beechwood, Shapati, inward Ajah. Emergency services responded quickly, and the injured were taken to Hamon Royal Hospital for treatment.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, and the truck driver and his assistant fled the scene. LASTMA General Manager, Olalekan Bakare-Oki, expressed sorrow over the loss of lives and urged motorists to exercise caution and adhere to traffic safety regulations.
