The Federal Government has unveiled a $78.5 billion investment pipeline comprising 65 bankable projects at the ongoing International Monetary Fund, IMF, and World Bank Annual Meetings in Bangkok, Thailand.

The portfolio was presented by the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Taiwo Oyedele, and the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Olayemi Cardoso, at the Nigeria Investors Forum held on the sidelines of the meetings.

According to details published on the Federal Ministry of Finance’s Projects Nigeria investment portal, the projects span oil and gas, power, transport and maritime, industry, manufacturing and mining, agriculture and agro-processing, technology, healthcare and urban development.

The government estimates the investments could create about 366,763 jobs across the country.

To facilitate investment, Oyedele said the government has established a dedicated Nigeria Deal Room to provide investors with project details, funding requirements and direct access to relevant government authorities.

Breakdown of the pipeline shows:

– Oil, gas and power: 25 projects requiring $36.4 billion

– Transport and maritime: 8 projects requiring $25 billion

– Industry, manufacturing and mining: 17 projects requiring $6.6 billion

– Agriculture and agro-processing: 6 projects requiring $9.8 billion
