A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has postponed judgment in the case brought by lawmaker Leke Abejide against Senator David Mark and Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. The ruling, initially expected on Monday, April 13, 2026, will now be delivered on Tuesday, April 14.

In the suit, Abejide, a member of the House of Representatives, is seeking a court order to stop Mark and Aregbesola from acting as national chairman and national secretary of the African Democratic Congress.
The matter stems from internal disagreements within the ADC over who occupies the party’s top national positions. No reason for the adjournment was given in open court on Monday.
