Jaiz Bank compliance officer Munawwarah Anas on Tuesday walked the Abuja Federal High Court through cash flows tied to Alkausar Farm as the EFCC presses its N8.7bn laundering case against ex-AGF Abubakar Malami, his wife Bashir Asabe, and son Abdulaziz Malami. Anas, the 5th prosecution witness, told Justice Joyce Abdulmalik that bank records requested by EFCC showed heavy deposits and transfers between 2018 and 2020.

The documents, admitted as Exhibit E Series, captured N1m cash lodged by Hassan Aliyu in June 2018 and N2.25m from Aliyu Mohammed same month. In December 2018, Kalamu Wahid Global Concept sent four N10m credits plus N8m, while N45.5m was debited to Donaliv Global Nigeria Ltd. The statement also reflected N26.25m twice from Al-Afiya Energy Ltd in July 2020, N50m to Sahad Stores, and N1m to Alfagai Jewellery. Anas said banks flag and report unusual transactions to NFIU, and Jaiz Bank replied EFCC’s letter on Feb 4, 2026. The judge adjourned till July 17, 2026.
