Former Osun State Governor and ADC National Secretary, Rauf Aregbesola, has dismissed reports suggesting he is planning to return to the All Progressives Congress.

Speaking on the matter, Aregbesola said he sees no reason to rejoin the APC, arguing that the party has strayed from the principles it was founded on. He described the African Democratic Congress as the credible alternative Nigeria needs at a time of widespread economic hardship and rising insecurity.
Aregbesola also threw his weight behind the ADC’s governorship candidate for Osun, Najeem Salaam, describing him as a grassroots politician capable of driving real development in the state. He called on party members to stay focused and mobilize support ahead of planned rallies across Osun, including major events in Ile-Ife and Osogbo.
The ADC scribe maintained that the party is positioning itself as a platform for Nigerians seeking a shift from the current political order.
