The All Progressives Congress has fixed the cost of its 2027 presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at a combined N100 million, while governorship aspirants will pay N50 million.

According to the party’s schedule of activities signed by National Organising Secretary Sulaimon Arugungu, presidential aspirants will pay N30 million for the expression of interest form and N70 million for the nomination form. Governorship hopefuls will pay N10 million and N40 million respectively.
Fees for other positions were also announced: Senate aspirants will pay N20 million, House of Representatives N10 million, and State House of Assembly N5 million.
Timetable
The APC said the timetable was prepared in line with the 1999 Constitution, the Electoral Act 2026, and INEC’s revised schedule for the 2027 general elections. c8dc
Notice of election to state chapters is set for Monday, April 20, 2026. Sale of forms at the national secretariat will run from Saturday, April 25, to Saturday, May 2, 2026, with Monday, May 4, as the deadline for submission of completed forms. ffb9
Primaries are scheduled as follows: House of Assembly on Saturday, May 16; governorship on Monday, May 18; House of Representatives on Wednesday, May 20; and Senate on Friday, May 22. Appeals will be heard on Sunday, May 24, for the House of Assembly, and Monday, May 25, for the other categories. The party’s special convention for presidential primaries will hold from Thursday, May 28 to Friday, May 29, 2026, using direct primaries.
