The Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun Corps, has arrested 35 suspected kidnappers, human traffickers, and other criminals across the state’s 18 local government areas. The suspects were paraded at the Amotekun headquarters in Akure, with 19 arrested for breach of law and order, 11 for kidnapping, three for human trafficking, and two for rape.

The Amotekun Commander, Adetunji Adeleye, stated that the arrests were made possible by intelligence-driven operations and warned criminals to abandon their activities, emphasizing that Ondo State won’t serve as a refuge for them. The agency has also impounded 120 motorcycles for violating the ban on night-time commercial motorcycle operations.
