The African Democratic Congress has rescheduled its screening for presidential and governorship hopefuls to Monday, May 18, 2026, after postponing the exercise that was meant to hold this weekend. 

Party spokesman Bolaji Abdullahi said the change was made because of the security situation in parts of Northern Nigeria. He added that screening for federal legislative aspirants from those affected areas will now be conducted in Abuja instead. 

The ADC said all impacted aspirants will get new schedules directly and thanked them for their patience.
