The African Democratic Congress has expelled 11 members, including Hon. Leke Abejide and Nafiu Bala Gombe, for allegedly breaching the party’s constitution and disciplinary guidelines.

National Publicity Secretary Bolaji Abdullahi announced the decision in a statement on Wednesday. He said the move followed resolutions adopted at the party’s National Convention held on April 14, 2026, in Abuja.
According to the statement, the affected members were found to have acted against the party’s rules, leading to their immediate removal from the ADC.
The party added that the action was taken to uphold internal discipline and strengthen its structures ahead of future elections.
