Four individuals brutally beheaded in fresh Ebonyi border clash. A renewed boundary dispute between Okporojo-Oso Edda and neighboring Amasiri communities in Ebonyi State has led to the killing of four persons, with several houses torched by attackers.

The assault, which occurred on Thursday night, has sparked widespread outrage and concern. The communities have been embroiled in a decades-long land conflict, resulting in significant loss of life and property destruction. Despite efforts by previous and current state administrations to resolve the issue, violence persists. Sources allege the attackers originated from Amasiri, with a video showing the victims’ bodies without heads circulating on social media.

The Ebonyi State Commissioner for Internal Security, Etta Uka Ude, condemned the act as “barbaric and unacceptable,” assuring swift action to apprehend perpetrators. Security personnel have been deployed to restore calm, with investigations underway to identify those responsible.
