Nigerian Army troops under Operation HADIN KAI have blocked a terrorist infiltration attempt and disrupted supply routes for insurgents in Borno State.

The army said its forces intercepted attackers moving toward the North East Theatre Training School in Buni Yadi and responded with targeted strikes. The operation ended the threat, with two suspected terrorists killed and one motorcycle recovered at the site.

In separate intelligence-led missions, soldiers alongside Civilian Joint Task Force members arrested three men suspected of supplying logistics to Boko Haram/ISWAP fighters. The suspects — Mallam Bako Ibrahim, Abu Aji, and Musa Idi — were apprehended along Damboa and Mandaragirau–Sabon Gari routes.

Military authorities said the actions are aimed at cutting off support systems that sustain terrorist operations across the North East region.

Security agencies continue to intensify patrols and surveillance to prevent further infiltration and attacks on communities and installations.
