The internal crisis in Lagos APC escalated on Wednesday after Iyaloja General of Nigeria, Mrs. Folashade Tinubu-Ojo, urged the party to dissolve the Justice Forum and Mandate Movement groups.

Speaking at a meeting of market leaders in Ikeja, Tinubu-Ojo accused the two blocs of manipulating the outcome of recent primaries. She alleged that the mandate of candidates who won in Mushin Constituency I, Agege Constituency II, and Ojokoro was taken from them and given to others who did not win. 5aba

She named Mutiu Olaide Oladeebo, Seye Oladejo, and Olotu Emmanuel Ojo as aspirants who secured victory but were allegedly sidelined. According to her, the practice discourages hard work and undermines party members’ will. 5aba

Tinubu-Ojo also warned that the situation was damaging the image of the Justice Forum, especially as the party’s governorship candidate belongs to the group. She argued that allowing such maneuvering creates the impression that political success depends on switching groups rather than merit. 5aba

“We have to cry out now; let the APC cancel Justice and Mandate Forums,” she said, stressing that the incoming governor should represent all Lagosians, not just one faction.
