Lagos State authorities have taken seven suspected robbers into custody for allegedly operating on Bolade Bridge in Oshodi. The arrest followed a tip-off and prolonged surveillance by the Lagos State Environmental Task Force, according to Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, Tokunbo Wahab.

The suspects, identified as Samuel Olumide (19), Quadri Oladipupo (21), Ojo Ifabomi (23), Tunde Balogun (24), Dayo Badmus (21), Adegunlola Tayo (20), and Simon Michael (21), were apprehended on Monday.
Wahab stated that the operation is part of the state’s ongoing efforts to secure public spaces, protect commuters, and disrupt criminal activities around key transport hubs. “Public infrastructure should not be a haven for crime,” he emphasized.
The suspects are currently in custody and will face prosecution according to existing laws.
