The Edo State Police Command Nigeria, has made significant breakthroughs in its efforts to curb criminal activities, arresting 13 suspects and rescuing three abducted victims in separate operations. The successes are a result of targeted intelligence and coordinated bush-combing operations in Esan West and Owan West Local Government Areas.

The police also recovered an excavator used to damage a Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited pipeline, and five mobile phones suspected to belong to kidnapped victims. The Commissioner of Police, Monday Agbonika, had ordered sustained security measures to dismantle criminal networks and deny offenders safe haven. The command reaffirmed its commitment to protecting lives and property, and urged the public to remain vigilant and support proactive policing.
