National Chairman Moses Zuwoghe will chair the committee, with Enekweizu serving as secretary. Other members include former Ebonyi Governor Sam Egwu, Buba Galadima, Yunusa Tanko, Prof. Udenta Udenta, Aminu Abdulsalam, Mohammed Bakin Zuwo, Shittu Mohammed, Babatunde Ali as deputy chairman, Mohammed Takori, Daniel Onifade, Ikeddy Isiguzo, Wole Adedayo, Dr. Osusu Osusu, Chief Asukewe Ikoawaji, Frederick E. The committee is scheduled for inauguration on Monday, May 25, 2026, and will hold its first meeting immediately. Its mandate is to review reports from the National Screening Committee and make final decisions on the eligibility of all aspirants.
The NDC said only aspirants cleared by the National Selection Committee will be allowed to buy nomination forms. Where consensus is not reached among aspirants, the party will conduct direct primaries from May 28 to May 30, 2026, in line with its guidelines.
