The Nigerian Air Force has struck terrorist hideouts in Adamawa and Borno, neutralising several fighters and destroying logistics facilities during precision air raids on May 19, 2026.

Under Operation HADIN KAI, NAF aircraft hit Bukar Meram in the Southern Tumbuns and Chikide in the Mandara Mountains after surveillance confirmed the presence of insurgent camps and supply points.

According to Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the strikes eliminated key structures used for planning attacks and cut off supply lines. The operation also prevented planned assaults in the region.

Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Sunday Kelvin Aneke, said the Air Force will sustain intelligence-driven missions with sister services to degrade terrorist networks and secure the North-East.

He noted that future strikes would remain targeted to minimise civilian risk while crippling insurgent capabilities.
