The Lagos State Peoples Democratic Party has suspended Chief Bode George, former PDP Deputy National Chairman, and 23 other members over accusations of working against the party’s interests.

According to the state chapter, a disciplinary committee reviewed the conduct of those involved and recommended the suspension. The committee found that their actions conflicted with party decisions and weakened internal unity, especially around election activities and organizational matters.

Lagos PDP leaders said the decision was taken to enforce discipline and safeguard the party’s structure. They added that the affected members will undergo further review as part of the party’s ongoing efforts to address internal issues.

This is the latest in a string of disputes within the Lagos PDP, as the leadership pushes for members to follow party directives and maintain loyalty ahead of future political contests.
