The All Progressives Congress, APC, governorship candidate in Kwara State, Yakubu Danladi, has pledged to sustain and build on the policies and programmes of the current administration led by Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

Danladi made the pledge while seeking the support of party stakeholders and residents ahead of the 2027 governorship election in the state.
According to him, continuity is critical to consolidating the gains recorded in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and youth empowerment under the AbdulRazaq-led government.
“We have seen purposeful leadership in the last few years. My administration, by God’s grace, will not abandon the foundation that has been laid. We will continue from where we are and take Kwara to greater heights,” Danladi said.
The APC candidate called on party members to remain united and work together to ensure victory for the party in 2027. He added that his campaign will focus on inclusiveness, transparency, and delivering more dividends of democracy to the people.
Governor AbdulRazaq, who is serving his second term, is expected to complete his tenure in 2027.
Political observers say Danladi’s pledge of continuity is aimed at positioning the APC to retain power in Kwara while leveraging the goodwill of the incumbent administration.
