KADUNA RESIDENTS CALL FOR EL-RUFAI ACCOUNTABILITY OVER DADIYATA CASE.

Posted by

Protesters, including youths and women, have marched to Kaduna’s Government House, demanding answers about Abubakar Idris (Dadiyata)’s disappearance since 2019 and a thorough audit of Nasir El-Rufai’s administration. They carried banners like “We demand public scrutiny, audit now” and “Malam Nasir El-Rufai, where is Dadiyata?”.

The group wants transparency on a $350 million World Bank loan El-Rufai’s administration secured, including how funds were spent. They’re also pushing for an independent security audit due to concerns over insecurity during his tenure.

El-Rufai denies involvement in Dadiyata’s disappearance, saying the lecturer was a Kano State government critic. Protesters insist on accountability, saying “Kaduna deserves better”.
