The Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi has delayed its verdict on a bail application submitted by internet influencer Okoro Blessing Nkiruka, widely known as Blessing CEO. Justice D.I. Dipeolu said the ruling will now come on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, after both sides presented their arguments.

The influencer is facing prosecution by the EFCC, Lagos Zonal Directorate 1, over a two-count charge of obtaining money by false pretence and stealing. She’s accused of collecting ₦36 million from a complainant after allegedly misrepresenting facts about a Lekki property lease.
Blessing CEO was brought before the court on May 15, 2026, and took her plea. Thursday’s sitting, June 5, was fixed solely for the bail hearing. Following submissions from prosecution and defence lawyers, the judge reserved judgment to allow more time for consideration.
EFCC disclosed the adjournment via X, stating that the defendant will stay in custody until the court decides on the bail terms next week.
