Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Yahaya, has reaffirmed his backing for President Bola Tinubu, stating that the All Progressives Congress (APC) is poised for victory in the 2027 elections. Yahaya made this known at the APC’s Local Government Area Congress in Gombe, where he praised party members for their unity and commitment to the party’s growth.

The governor noted that the APC has a strong track record and expanding grassroots support, positioning it for success in future polls. He commended the peaceful conduct of the congress, attributing it to the party’s mature internal democratic processes. Yahaya assured party members that the APC-led governments will continue to implement policies aimed at improving citizens’ welfare.

The Chairman of the State, LGA, and Ward Congresses Committee, Dr. Danjuma Dabo, said the party adopted a consensus arrangement to promote unity and stability. He praised the conduct of the exercise, describing it as peaceful and transparent. The congress was attended by party leaders, elders, and members from Gombe Local Government Area’s 11 wards.
