The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested Ibekwe Izuchukwu Emmanuel, a sales representative of Prince OJ Global Services Limited, for allegedly diverting ₦70,030,450 of company funds. Emmanuel allegedly used part of the money to buy a plot of land in Enugu State. He’s being held alongside Miracle Onyekachi Nnaji, a Point of Sale (POS) operator who reportedly helped facilitate the diversion.

The EFCC launched an investigation after the company reported millions of naira missing, dating back to 2023. Internal audits revealed Emmanuel’s alleged diversion, and he confessed to the crime, refunding ₦15 million. The suspects will face charges upon completion of the investigation.

The EFCC is examining bank statements, POS transaction histories, and other financial documents to establish the full extent of the alleged diversion. The agency warns individuals and businesses against financial misconduct, emphasizing that acts of fraud and diversion will attract thorough investigation and prosecution.
