DSS NABS SUSPECTS OVER PAPIRI SCHOOL KIDNAP.

The Department of State Services, DSS, has arrested five suspects linked to the abduction at Papiri School, with some of them identified as foreign nationals.

The arrests followed targeted intelligence work that traced the suspects to the attack on the school which involved students and staff. DSS said the operation was aimed at dismantling the criminal network behind the incident and stopping further threats to educational institutions in the area.

According to the service, investigations are still active to track other collaborators, recover any stolen items, and secure the safe return of all victims. The agency noted that the suspects are helping with information that could lead to more arrests.

Following the incident, security presence around Papiri and nearby communities has been stepped up. Authorities assured parents and residents that measures are being put in place to tighten school security and prevent future attacks.
