Ajara Lasisi, popularly known as Aunty Ajara, a Nollywood actress has passed away after a prolonged battle with illness. The news was announced by director Tobi Oladele, also known as Tee Money, in a statement shared on Instagram on Thursday.

According to Teemony, Aunty Ajara received immense love, prayers, and financial support from people worldwide during her illness. Her brother, Ridwan Lasisi, confirmed her passing in a video message, expressing gratitude to colleagues, fans, and well-wishers for their support.

Aunty Ajara’s health condition had worsened despite ongoing treatment, prompting appeals for financial assistance from colleagues. She was reportedly battling a liver-related illness and had been placed on oxygen in hospital.
