The Niger State Police Command Nigeria has seized three AK-47 rifles and six magazines following a crash involving suspected arms traffickers on a motorcycle. The incident went down on February 17 along the Boyi Sarki-Toll Gate road. Authorities found the arms and ammo in a bag belonging to the suspects.

One suspect died instantly, while the other was lynched by a mob while seeking medical attention. The rifles bear serial numbers 23130, 1963xx7075, and 0514 33504, with three magazines fully loaded and others containing live rounds.

The deceased suspects’ bodies were taken to Umar Musa Yar’Adua General Hospital, Sabon Wuse, as probes continue.
