American streamer Kai Cenat has arrived in Lagos, Nigeria, for his second visit, sparking excitement among fans and renewed focus on his $5 million school project in Makoko. Cenat was welcomed at Murtala Muhammed International Airport with a band performance, generating buzz on social media.

During his visit, Cenat met with Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at the Lagos House, Marina, to discuss youth-focused initiatives. The governor’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril A. Gawat, confirmed the meeting, stating that Cenat shared his experiences and plans for the state.

Cenat’s school project, announced nearly a year ago, has faced delays due to land acquisition and regulatory hurdles, prompting a relocation to Yaba. Despite this, Cenat maintains that children from Makoko will receive free education once the school is completed. Over $1 million has been raised so far, with plans for phased spending to ensure long-term sustainability.
