The African Democratic Congress has expressed optimism ahead of upcoming elections, saying it is targeting an upset win over the All Progressives Congress and the Peoples Democratic Party.

Party leaders stated that the ADC is mobilizing its structures nationwide and working to attract disillusioned voters from the two major parties. They added that recent defections and grassroots engagement have strengthened the party’s chances in key states.
According to the ADC, Nigerians are seeking a new political alternative due to frustration with the performance of the APC and PDP. The party said it will focus on issues such as security, the economy and youth employment to win public support.
Political analysts note that while the APC and PDP remain dominant, smaller parties have been gaining ground in some regions. The ADC maintained that with proper organization and credible candidates, it can pull off surprises in the polls.
The party urged Nigerians to look beyond traditional party lines and vote based on competence and track record. It pledged to run an issue-based campaign ahead of the elections.
