Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja has announced the birth of her first child, a baby boy, with her husband, Ugo Nwoke. The actress shared the news on Tuesday, May 20, 2026, via her Instagram page, alongside a series of maternity photos.

In her post, Ooja expressed overwhelming joy and gratitude, describing motherhood as a dream come true. She noted that the experience of pregnancy deepened her understanding of God’s love, calling it “unconditional, intentional, and impossible to explain fully”. She also referenced scripture, saying, “Your wife will be like a fruitful grapevine, and your children like olive shoots around your table.”

The actress thanked her husband for his support throughout the nine-month journey, highlighting his care, prayers, reassurance, and presence at every stage. She further appreciated her family and close friends for helping her keep the pregnancy private and away from social media until the birth.
