The leadership change at the examination body was announced on Wednesday by JAMB authorities.

Oloyede, a former Vice Chancellor of the University of Ilorin, has headed JAMB since 2016. His tenure has been marked by reforms in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination process, including the introduction of Computer-Based Testing and a central admissions system.

Aina, the incoming registrar, is expected to take over the running of the board at the end of the week.

JAMB is responsible for conducting entrance examinations into Nigerian universities, polytechnics and colleges of education.
