Iran has restored train operations on key lines after repairing track sections damaged during the recent conflict with Israel and the United States, state media reported Monday, April 13, 2026.

Officials said reconstruction crews have been working in recent days to fix bridges, rail lines, and other infrastructure hit during nearly 40 days of fighting. The resumed services cover routes considered critical for passenger and freight movement.

The repairs follow widespread damage to transport networks reported across several provinces. Authorities did not specify which lines were back in service or the total cost of the reconstruction so far.

State outlets said work continues on other damaged infrastructure as the country moves to re-establish internal logistics and public transit.
