The All Progressives Congress has dismissed calls for a review of its recent primary election results.

Party officials said the internal electoral process was concluded in line with established guidelines and that reopening results would undermine the integrity of the exercise. They maintained that grievances from aspirants should be addressed through the party’s internal conflict resolution mechanisms rather than a fresh review.

According to the APC leadership, allowing a review at this stage could set a precedent that encourages repeated challenges to party decisions. The statement comes as political parties begin early positioning ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Aspirants who contested the primaries had raised concerns over alleged irregularities and called for the results to be reassessed. The party, however, insisted that all complaints were considered before final declarations were made.

Political analysts note that the APC’s stance reflects efforts to maintain party discipline and present a united front as the 2027 election cycle approaches.
