AKPABIO PAYS TRIBUTE TO FALLEN SECURITY PERSONNEL, VOWS TO END INSECURITY.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has paid tribute to fallen security personnel, commending their sacrifices in maintaining national peace and security. In a statement issued on Saturday, Akpabio urged Nigerians to pray for the country’s security forces, saying their efforts have not gone unnoticed. He also extended his condolences to families of security personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty, praying for the fortitude to bear the loss.

Akpabio emphasized the need for Nigerians to work together to address the country’s security challenges, saying the Federal Government is committed to tackling insecurity. He specifically mentioned the recent attacks in Plateau State, expressing his condolences to the affected families and praying for the repose of the departed souls. The Senate President assured Nigerians that the government is leaving no stone unturned in its efforts to ensure the country is safe and secure.

In his Easter message, Akpabio urged Nigerians to use the occasion to reflect on their responsibilities to the nation and to pray for peace, unity, and progress. He emphasized the importance of tolerance, mutual respect, and peaceful coexistence, saying these values are essential for national development.
