Lecturers at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos have commenced an indefinite industrial action over unresolved issues around welfare and regulatory matters.

The lecturers say the strike will continue until management addresses their demands. Key concerns reportedly include allowances, working conditions, and issues related to professional regulation that have remained unsettled despite prior engagements.
Academic activities in the medical school are expected to be disrupted for the duration of the action.
