Ibrahim Mutari, a 20-year-old, allegedly killed his father’s 70-year-old stepmother, Hauwa Abubakar, in Plateau State’s Jos North local government area in Nigeria.The incident occurred around 3 pm, prompting residents and police to rush to the scene.

The victim’s husband, Abubakar Shuaibu, condemned the act, saying it was brutal and inhumane. He alleged that Ibrahim attacked, strangled, and stabbed his wife before fleeing. The deceased’s daughter, Ummi Ahmed, accused Ibrahim of fulfilling a revenge threat made after a fight with her brother last year.

Ibrahim had vowed to harm the family after being stabbed in the stomach by his brother, Musa, during a fight. The suspect’s father was raised by the deceased, who cared for him like a mother, making the act even more shocking.
