The Rivers State Police Command has dismissed four police officers for their alleged involvement in the killing of a 22-year-old fresh graduate of the University of Port Harcourt, UNIPORT.

The dismissal was announced by the Commissioner of Police, Olugbenga Adepoju during a press briefing in Port Harcourt.
The Commissioner said the decision followed findings from an internal investigation into the incident.
In the same briefing, 14 other suspects were paraded for alleged involvement in various crimes including kidnapping, armed robbery, and “one chance” robbery in the state.
The police command said it remains committed to upholding discipline and ensuring that officers found guilty of misconduct face appropriate sanctions.
