The Federal Road Safety Corps, FRSC, has deployed 2,500 personnel and 50 operational vehicles across Osun State ahead of Saturday’s August 15, 2026 governorship election.

The deployment is part of measures to ensure free flow of traffic, prevent road accidents, and support security agencies during the election.
The FRSC personnel will be stationed at strategic locations, major highways, and polling areas to manage traffic and respond to emergencies before, during and after the poll.
The Osun governorship election is expected to see massive movement of voters, electoral officials, and party agents across the state. Security agencies including the Police, NSCDC, and other sister agencies have also announced major deployments to guarantee a peaceful exercise.
FRSC urged motorists and voters to obey traffic rules and cooperate with operatives on duty to ensure a hitch-free election.
