The Delta State Police Command has made significant progress in its crackdown on criminal activity, arresting 23 individuals, recovering a stolen HOWO trailer truck, and impounding large amounts of suspected illegal drugs.

The Command stated that the breakthroughs came from several targeted raids and operations driven by intelligence across different parts of the state. The HOWO truck was traced and recovered shortly after it was declared stolen, following rapid response by police operatives.
During the same operations, officers intercepted substantial quantities of substances suspected to be narcotics. All 23 suspects arrested in connection with the incidents are currently being held for questioning.
The Police Command said the operations are part of ongoing measures to disrupt criminal networks, stop the movement of stolen goods and illicit substances, and improve security for residents. It added that investigations are still underway to establish the role of each suspect and identify other possible accomplices.
