Social media influencer and relationship therapist Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been remanded in EFCC custody after her arraignment at the Federal High Court in Ikoyi on Friday.

The EFCC charged her with two counts of obtaining money by false pretence and theft. Prosecutors allege she collected N36 million from Mrs. Ifeyinwa Nonye Okoye between July 14 and 17, 2024, under the claim that she could lease a six-bedroom duplex on Tunbosun Osobu Street in Lekki, Lagos. The commission says the claim was false and that she converted the money for personal use.

Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty. Her lawyer told the court she had just been served the charges and was preparing a bail application, asking that she be kept in EFCC custody until bail is perfected. Justice D.I. Dipeolu granted the request.

The court adjourned the case to June 5, 2026, for trial.
