The All Progressives Congress has extended the deadlines for the sale and submission of Expression of Interest and Nomination Forms for aspirants ahead of the 2027 general elections.

In a statement issued on Monday by National Publicity Secretary Felix Morka, the party said the sale of forms will now close at midnight on Wednesday, May 6, 2026. The deadline for submission of completed forms has been shifted to midnight on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

The APC also adjusted its screening schedule. Screening of aspirants will hold from Friday, May 8 to Tuesday, May 12, 2026. The list of successfully screened aspirants will be published on Wednesday, May 13, 2026.

The party had initially scheduled the sale of forms to run from April 25 to May 2, 2026, but the process started three days later than planned. The extensions are to give more aspirants sufficient time to obtain and submit their forms.

According to the party’s schedule, the presidential nomination form costs N100 million, governorship form N50 million, Senate N20 million, House of Representatives N10 million, and State House of Assembly N6 million.
